Jacob Higer and Yamin Ben Shimon, two Physics M.Sc. students in the group presented their thesis work. Jacob developed a method to rigorously include periodic boundary conditions in bosonic path integral molecular dynamics simulations. Yamin developed a way to estimate free-energy differences without sampling transitions, which will be posted on the arXiv soon. Congratulations to both of you!

Congratulations to both! Yamin's method to "estimate free energy differences" without "sampling transitions" sounds truly groundbreaking! I'm very curious if that method can be applied to my passion... for example, to "estimate" if I'll beat the next drift boss record without a practice run! Just kidding, amazing work!
